Luke Aldridge, an undergraduate history major @ USC-Aiken is conducting a series of oral history interviews during the months of March and April for a project funded University of South Carolina Magellan Scholar Award for undergraduate research.
These interviews will be submitted to the Library of Congress for preservation of their Veterans History Project.
The Project is supervised by USCA History Faculty Member, Dr. Sarah King. And grew out of a history class on the Vietnam War. As this project is historical in nature, Luke’s Questions center on Vietnam Veterans’ lives, before, during and after the Vietnam War.
Luke’s goal is to record and preserve the stories of Vietnam Veterans in the Aiken Area in a respectful and meaningful.
