Dwight Bradham, a dedicated advocate for local veterans, will be the guest speaker at the Chapter’s September 16th meeting; location American Legion Post 71, 333 East Spring Grove Ave., North Augusta. SC.
Since 2016 Dwight as Veterans Service Officer for Aiken County has been an advocate for Veterans Affairs. Continuously attends community events, make presentations to Church, civic, businesses on topics pertaining to Veterans. Counseling them on issues they may be facing and directs or refers them to the correct professional services and sharing information on various veterans’ programs in the County.
Additionally, Dwight assists widows and widowers in securing Department of Veterans Affairs death benefits.
In December 2023 Dwight was named the Person Of the Year by the Aiken Standard.
