On November 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM EST, the annual Veterans Day at The Wall ceremony will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the “Three Servicemen” statue and the 20th anniversary of the In Memory plaque.

This special ceremony will feature remarks from Vietnam veteran Robert Doubek, who co-founded the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund together with John Wheeler, Jan Scruggs, and others. Doubek served as VVMF’s Executive Director and as Project Director through the creation of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The Vietnam Women’s Memorial speaker will be Ruby Scheuing, who served in Vietnam as a nurse at the 18th Surgical Hospital in Pleiku.
