1145’s News 50th Vietnam Commemorative

In preparation for National Vietnam War Veterans Day (NVWVD), we
introduced our promotional video, the most-watched video of the year, and revealed our brand new NVWVD poster. On and around March 29, you held more than 12 hundred events, recognizing Vietnam veterans across the
country! Here in the Nation’s Capital, we joined your efforts on that day in a joint wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (above left). If you missed the live-stream, you can still watch the video. Other national-level efforts included President Biden’s social media post, a special video message from
Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Denis R. McDonough (at right), and the Vietnam Veterans monument unveiling at the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in California.
